Environmental protection is a serious concern for us.

 

GARTNER has therefore firmly established the protection of the environment

as part of its corporate strategy and has implemented specific measures.  

 

Out truck fleet corresponds to the most recent ecological guidelines and is less

than two years old on average.

 

 

The empty mileage of our fleet is kept to a minimum thanks to efficient traffic

planning supported by satellite tracing. This enables us to contribute significantly

to the reduction of CO2 emissions. We have already received an award from the Austrian Ministry of Environment for our prowess in the field of climate protection.   

 

 

 

We also shift nearly 30,000 truck loads each year to the environmentally-friendly rail via our business segment "intermodal transport". Two of our innovative projects involving intermodal transports have been backed by the European Union within the framework of the Marco-Polo-Programme.
