In-House Corona Testing Lane

As a family-run transport business, we have been offering our employees – as well as their family members – the opportunity to be tested at our in-house Corona testing lane free of charge and without the usual red tape since the beginning of March.

Our secure, one-way testing lane was set up at basement level and is held 3 times a week: Monday-Wednesday-Friday due to the large number of participants and the positive feedback it has received. Recording and results of these antigen tests are handled via the Austrian platform “Österreich-Testet”, transmitted within a very short time via text message or e-mail and are officially valid!

From the beginning, the goal was to provide this to all staff from our own ranks. The team consists of trained paramedics with experience in Corona management under the leadership of Gerhard Penninger.

In order to optimise time savings and ensure maximum efficiency, we commissioned the programming of a slot booking system for registration. Employees use this system to book a test time slot for themselves or their relatives and, after entering the data, can directly print out the form for the test. By distributing appointments in this way, we not only prevent waiting times and traffic jams, but also guarantee the service’s smooth operation and meet the standards set for public testing lanes.

Since the introduction of this testing lane, an average of over 200 antigen tests have been carried out per day.
