In Thessaloniki, in the Industrial Park of Sindos, a private rail terminal has been in operation since 2005, which was developed into the leading intermodal inland terminal in Northern Greece within the framework of a joint venture (50/50 with the company Kühne+Nagel). The regular shuttle train connections to Lambach and Athens underline the importance of this company location. This convenient location allows daily and area-wide connections to Greece as well as fast transit times for Cyprus and transports to Turkey. The Sindos location handles intermodal trains and conventional wagon traffic as well as container trucking. Further services are offered by the container depot for 20'-45' containers, warehousing and customs clearance.
