In the heart of Europe lies Kehl am Rhein, the neighbouring city of the European capital Strasbourg. The headquarters of Gartner Speditions GmbH Germany is located here, at one of the most important junctions of the trade routes between Southern Europe and Germany. A modern refrigerated logistics centre was built on a total area of 35,000 m2 in 2007.
Kehl is the hub of the fruit and vegetable segment. Adapted to this segment, the range of services includes full loads, charter traffic as well as groupage traffic. The services offered include goods sorting, labelling, order picking, special incoming goods inspections and laboratory tests, as well as disposal if required – and all this with computerised warehouse management systems. In addition to a modern logistics centre for optimum warehousing, the location also offers an in-house workshop and filling station.
