Company Gustav Ziegler GmbH

In order to further expand its competencies in the area of pan-European transport of commercial vehicles, tractors, agricultural and construction machinery and to strengthen its position in the segment of international special and heavy haulage, the Gartner Group fully acquired the company Gustav Ziegler in Dürmentingen in 2017.

The company Ziegler was founded at the end of the 1930s and is a third-generation family-owned company operating throughout Europe with headquarters in Dürmentingen (Baden-Württemberg). Originally, the main focus of the company's activities was the transport of wood and pulp; today, it is mainly agricultural and construction machinery transport. The entire range of services extends from tractor transport to trade fair and bus transport.

Equipped with over 100 articulated trucks with special bodies and semi-trailers, tailor-made transport solutions can be found and carried out.

Our own vehicle construction department designs and implements sustainable and practical solutions for every area of application. An external warehouse spanning approx. 23,000 m² is used for the storage and handling of vehicles and large equipment. Professional loading and unloading are ensured by means of loading ramps and crane loading. A total of around 140 employees work in close cooperation with customers to provide individually tailored transport solutions.
