Company location in Lambach

In Edt near Lambach, in the heart of Austria, is the headquarters of the Gartner Group of Companies. Here alone, more than 954 employees work in the office, in the workshop, in the warehouse and as truck drivers. A large trained dispatch team organises and schedules a huge number of transport operations every day and always responds to individual customer requests.

On an area of 328,000m², next to the office complex, there is a 16,000 m² warehouse for extensive storage facilities, which is operated 24/7/365. The warehouse consists of a scanner-guided and fully computer-aided high-bay warehouse as well as block storage for dry and chilled goods and a hazardous goods warehouse.

The proprietary container terminal with rail connection, located directly on the B1, offers optimal transport connections and ideal infrastructure. The railway siding for efficient loading and unloading as well as the 42 ramps allow for a quick turnover of goods.

Furthermore, the company premises also include a large in-house workshop. More than one hundred employees take care of all technical requirements so that the best maintenance of our fleet is always guaranteed. In order to keep the fleet of vehicles running at all times, there is also an own filling station with four lanes on the company premises. Our own company restaurant provides daily meals with a variety of different menus for the physical well-being of our employees.

In 2018, the company premises were extended by the area “Gartner Nord”. The area, which is the size of 14 football pitches, is used as an additional truck parking facility and with its energy-efficient lighting concept is a model of environmentally friendly lighting. By means of a situational lighting, electricity savings of up to 90 per cent are achieved.
